This new, exciting non-profit organization is now in operation in the first phase of its program, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The program includes all areas of the Fine Arts---Music, Art, Dance & Drama, taught by creative, qualified instructors. The academy developed as the result of a dream of its founder, Janice Luke (Jan), who has taught music in the form of piano, voice, and choirs to children and adults for many years. She has lived in the Prescott area for 25 years, and has been involved in church music and directing community children and adult choirs in Prescott, and previously, all around the country.
As Executive Director of the academy's program, it is Jan's desire, along with her husband, Tom, to touch the lives of as many children, youth, and adults in Yavapai County as possible, with the wonderful, lifetime gifts the Fine Arts offer. Children and youth involved in the academy are from Prescott, Williamson Valley, Chino Valley, Paulden, Prescott Valley, Dewey, Humboldt, and Spring Valley. The academy leases space in the area at this time but in its phase II, will have it's own building and will offer many additional programs with even more choices for our community residents of all ages.
Anna Marie Larriba has joined the academy as Marketing Director. She is very talented and experienced in fund raising and marketing and has added bright new goals and visions for our program.
Both Jan & Anna Marie and the entire staff and Board of Directors invite you and the children in your life, to become involved in this exciting venture. We love and pray for the children and youth of our area, and desire to offer them many positive activities and worthwhile goals in their lives. The program also enhances the culture of the area and provides quality, enjoyable opportunities for all.
