Welcome To Volanté Academy of the Arts!

My name is Jan Luke and I am the Founder and Executive Director for Volanté Academy. This exciting non-profit organization was founded with much planning and prayer in 2002. Our first phase of operation has focused on bringing art education to the Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humbolt, and Chino Valley areas through private and group classes taught from partnership program locations. The programs of instruction include: Music, Art, Dance and Acting, taught by creative, experienced instructors. It developed as a result of my dream, after teaching music to children and youth in this area for many years in private lessons, choirs and in five schools in the area. My husband Tom and I have a very strong belief that not only does the Fine Arts aid children and youth in their development, creativity, self-esteem and deserved pride in accomplishments, but these programs also enhance the culture of the area and provides quality, enjoyable experiences for all.

Phase II
We are currently looking for additional intermittant space to meet all the needs of the program; a space which will accomodate our growing summer children and youth programs and after school programs in music, art, dance, and theatre.

Phase III

As our dream continues to grow we intend to move into phase III of the program, where children's lives will continue to be enhanced through developing their gifts and talents on an even larger scale. The Phase III vision you see above, will be equipped to teach many more children each week in areas of the Fine Arts, with our own Art Gallery, Performance stages, gift shops and Cafe which will include a performance sing along area. It is my goal, along with our Board of Directors and staff, that the program will be offered to all children, youth and adults of all ages, throughout Yavapai County.

Please consider joining us in bringing a hope and a future to our childern, youth and adults in the Fine Arts, by expanding our capacity to reach all generations in the rural community, and elsewhere in the county. We also invite you to join us in loving on and praying for the children, youth and the families in our community, as we encourage them to grow and develop into stable, well-adjusted individuals. The children of today are our future, and we wish for them to be happy, content citizens with vision for the future, working together making our communities a better place for them and for all of us, now and in the future.
